The 14th WAVE Conference (Women Against Violence Europe)  was organized in London between 17th and 20th of October 2012.

It was titled "Stop violence against women: Whose voices? Whose needs? Whose decisions?"
350 experts from across Europe took part in the Conference. Gender Alternatives Foundation was represented by its Managing director - Milena Kadieva.
Presentations included: Activities of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly to prevent and combat violence against women; Keeping violence against women and girls on the agenda within a financial crisis; Sexual violence: an issue whose time has come, etc.
Milena Kadieva participated in the workshop "Using internation law to uphold women's human rights to a life free from violence" and "Child custody and contact in the context of domestic violence".
