For the reporting period 01.03.2013 – 30.06.2013, seventy-one persons visited Gender Alternatives Foundation’s Consultative center, fifty-seven of whom were new clients. More than 90% of them are women.
       Thirty-eight of the new help seekers come from Plovdiv city, eleven of them are from Plovdiv district and eight - from the country. The youngest client is 23 years old and the oldest one is 89.

      The overall number of the consultations that have been given for this period is 114, 40 of which are within the program of psycho-social counseling, 62 are legal consultations, 3 of them are within the program for domestic violence perpetrators, 9 of them are within the program of job search consultancy /the latter program was being implemented only during March and April 2013/.
Telephone requests: The number of the received telephone requests and consultancy requests /received directly in the office/ for the period in question is 49.
    Tendencies:
    The biggest part of the victims has been directed to the Consultative center by the Regional Court in Plovdiv and by the Police.
    During the same period, the predominant part of clients happened to come from Plovdiv city, almost all of them were women mostly over 30 years old.
For the period in question, there were mainly cases of physical and psychological violence perpetrated by a husband or a partner. Another permanent tendency is evidenced by the cases of violence perpetrated by children against their parents.
