Watch the story of a young Bulgarian woman victim of trafficking in human beings

There are about 25 million people to date who are still being subjected to slavery.

1.4 million out of them are slaves of the sex industry.

Trafficking in human beings is the fastest-growing crime bringing profits of 32 billion dollars per year worldwide. However, statistics only give us numbers that seem boundless to us, so we remain detached because it does not present people as individuals having their names.

We are going to try to tell the story of one of those victims having her name and her own destiny – a fate that has focalized many life stories of individuals who could recognize either themselves or their acquaintances therein.

Here is the confession of Anastasia.
